In order to meet the challenges effectively and to serve the cause more efficiently, Vasantrao Acharekar Sanskrutik Pratishthan, Kankavli has decided to focus on infrastructure development as well as to initiate various activities with a eduational value, so that base of every participents should be firm .

We have a dream to build multipurpose cultural complex with soundproof class rooms, art gallery, store rooms for instruments and equipments, reference library, recording and editing studio (audio/video), accommodation facality for guest and visiting artists, cafeteria, performing spaces and a well equipped auditorium for arranging concerts and stage shows.

We are aware that only by constructing building you cannot achive any development but there should be proper use of that infrastracture. Therefore from begining we inetiated various programes which are helpful for cultural development i.e personality development workshop “Srujanachya Wata” for children, intensive traning center of Indian classical music, workshop in colabaration with N.S.D. New Dalhi of acting & technical asspects etc. We already started to lay the solid foundition for better tomorrow and that is why we need proper stracture. Documentation : For any organization, specially in Konkan region, an active life exceeding more than 10 years is not only remarkable but phenomenal as well. Therefore, it is essential to keep an account of those memoriable events, those moments which change the course of development. Keeping this in mind, Acharekar Pratishthan made collection of selected photographs, letters, brochures etc. which will not only give the glimpses of the golden past but will also be a source of inspiration for the coming generation.
